At our July committe meeting, it was confirmed that the Green Hackle Pipe Band would be travelling to the United States of America in June/July 2010. The trip would take place around the 25th June - 5th July. The exact dates would be dependent upon flight details. The itinerary is currently being planned and any organisations who would like to invite the band to a function during this time should get in touch with the Pipe Major.

The following events have been provisionally pencilled into the itinerary:

• Braintree 4th July Parade - Braintree, Massachusetts
• Bristol 4th July Parade - Bristol, Rhode Island
• Chelsea Soldiers' Home Beating Retreat - Boston, Massachusetts

Full details can be obtained from the Pipe Major. The event is currently only open to Band Members, regular guests and their families.
