On Saturday 11th October 2008 the Green Hackle Pipe Band will be joined by the Spiellmanns und Hornerkorps Springe/Deister for a special joint concert.

The concert will contain traditional Scottish, Irish and German tunes as well as some more contemporary pieces.

Tickets are available from the Pipe Major via e-mail: pipemajor@greenhackle.co.uk. They are free of charge but admission will be by ticket only.

The concert will be held at Ryskie House, 63 Upper Richmond Road, Putney, London, SW15. Parking is quite limited and the area immediately outside the house and the main road are no parking zones. We reccomend taking public transport to the venue. Ryskie House is just 200 yards from East Putney Underground Station which is served by the District Line.

Getting There

Tube: District Line (Wimbledon Branch) to East Putney. Once you exit the station turn right and walk along Upper Richmond Road. Pass Somerfield and cross over Keswick Road. Pass by 4 shops and you will see a row of houses. Ryskie House is the CIU Club next to the Royal British Legion

Car: Upper Richmond Road is the A205 South Circular Road. From Central London head into Wandsworth and take the A3 South West. Just past the Fire Station take the right hand fork down Upper Richmond Road. Ryskie House is on the left hand side. Parking is available on many of the side streets, and on Upper Richmond Road after 7pm

Bus: Routes 337 and 37 both stop right outside Ryskie House.

National Rail: Putney station is approximately half a mile from the venue. When you exit the station turn left, then left onto Upper Richmond Road and follow this road past the Underground station.
